                My name is Leonard James Hitz. I am currently studying for an AAS-T degree. When I am finished with that I intend to continue on with my education and get a degree in Engineering.

                I was born in a small town in the Mid-West called Freeport. Freeport is near the Mississippi River valley in North-Western Illinois. I have also lived in Buena Vista Colorado, which is nestled in the middle of the Collegiate Peaks at the base of Mount Princeton the fourth highest peak in that part of the rocky mountain. It has an elevation of 14,204 feet. Given that, I guess that you could say that I am a transplant to the North-West.

                I find my strength in writing comes from time, time that allows me to really think about what it is that I want to say. I am able to articulate my ideas in was that I am unable to during the course of a verbal conversation. In fact I often find that I am distracted during conversations because I am not quite able to find the words to properly convey my thoughts. An area that I hope to improve upon with the time that I spend writing in this class.

                An area that I could use help in? This is always a difficult question for me to answer. I guess that I could use help knowing and understanding what my weaknesses are, So that I can strengthen them. In order to learn a person must understand and acknowledge, the lack of knowledge they have about the things that they wish to better understand. That and punctuation I have always found it difficult to know if I am using punctuation properly.
